We have implemented a new program called Miss WBA. We will be watching and listening for people and businesses in our membership that are doing good deeds for our community and others. We will give these individuals and/or businesses recognition  in our newsletters and website and at a special program at our December meeting.  Santa will not be the only one watching, we will be keeping a list as well. You can help us by being on the look out and contact us to report who you caught doing something good. We hope this becomes very contagious in our community.  Catch the Spirit and pass it on.

Two of our WBA members were caught being good over the Christmas Holidays 2008.

Carla Thibodaux a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant and Ann Storms from South Louisiana Bank organized the shopping for and delivery of the gifts for the MacDonell Kids. Carla even took on another task for the children's Christmas Party by getting stockings for all the boys and girls and getting them filled with lots of special gifts.  South Louisiana Bank employee Ann Storms coordinated getting money donated from the employees of SLB in addition to what the members of the WBA donated and made sure that every child got what they wanted from their list. These two women went above and beyond what we originally planned to do. We are proud to say you are both members of the WBA. What a wonderful Christmas they created for these children. Thanks to both of you and to all that donated on behave of the WBA.
